Unique dining experience at ice restaurant

The food was ok, the ice room too, but only because we got a suite on the spot instead of the paid 2 double rooms. Of course without refund of the difference. The DZ are tiny ice mouse cages.
The pricing is bizarre, but it is all over Finland. Everything uncomfortable is constructional and has to be accepted as part of the adventure.

It took a short familiarization phase to get used to the cold conditions.

The glass igloo provided an very nice view of the sky while ensuring warmth and comfort. It was a fantastic way to experience the Northern Lights right from my bed. The facility also had a well-appointed business center, made it convenient to manage my work commitments. The ice bar was a highlight, serving drinks in good ice glasses.
The cold at night was challenging despite the sleeping bags.

The surroundings are really wonderful. The staff was very friendly.
Prices are really inflated, both in the restaurant, and all other services.

Location: the hotel was right by central Rovaniemi, the adjacent lake and the restaurant. Also, Lehtojarvi was 5 km away. I was offered a room with good views to the sky.

The glass igloo was so cool! Comfy bed, and the views of the night sky were just epic. You can see the Northern Lights right from your bed, lovely. It was warm enough inside too, even with the snow outside. The only downside was that it felt a bit cramped with our luggage. But overall, the experience of just lying there and looking at the stars was amazing!

The glass igloos offered fine views and comfort. Sleeping under the stars while staying warm was lovely! The ice bar was an awesome experience-definitely grab a drink and shatter the ice glass afterwards! Trying the hot berry juice served in the morning was a refreshing treat, too.

Satisfactory breakfasts, very, very nice and incredibly kind staff.
Simply no complaints whatsoever, INCREDIBLE stay. Spectacular and fairly clean place, excellent view of sky and northern lights. Heated and big size unit with a unique decor. Fantastic customer care, parking around the area. The check out is late. Marvellous and stunning setting in the stunning area, near to Rovaniemi and the airport, the restaurant for a long long time and the chapel.

We had an amazing group trip! The glass igloo experience is lovely. We enjoyed snowshoeing and ice fishing, both fun activities. The sauna was a nice bonus. While pricey, it's worth it for the unique experience.
One downside was the cost of dining. Meals were quite expensive and not very good, so we found ourselves looking for better options elsewhere.
